If you are trying to look skinny or lose weight from target trouble areas (e.g.
thighs or tummy or arms or waist) then you need to do weights and do specific exercise targeting your trouble areas only.

Following the advice of someone in a pancreatitis support group who is still sick,
suffering pain, nausea and looking diet for 50 year old man to lose weight (Gloria) answers via surgeries and procedures is like
following finacial advice from your Uncle who has gone bankrupt 3 times or that fat lady down the street who offers you tips on how to lose weight - it simply doesn't make sense.

I don't remember what my diet was though and now that
I'm back on these blogs again I can see I didn't take in enough
info about RS3 foods, though I do eat starches in general
(mostly oatmeal, lentils, rice) all of that is freshly cooked though and veggies.

You may lose weight readily in the first month of starting your plan, but then hit a plateau and make no progress as you get closer to your goal.

I think this is a great diet (except for the hot dogs,

I also have Hashimotos thyroid, Sjogrens disease, Reflux esophagitis which caused me to change my diet completely, anemia - pernicius and magablastic, osteoarthritis all over controlled with steroid like injections, COPD - controlled, asthma, etc.

This is not easy, but people do it, and when they do,
over a few months their nerves heal up. Doctors will
sometimes give you pills, but the pills only turn off the pain signal, they don't stop the nerve death that is
causing it. You want your nerves to heal!
